Dearest Comrades, Colleagues, and (facebook) Connections,

I have crossed paths with an organization called Minneapolis Energy Options on multiple occasions. Each time I have seen their presentation I have left feeling inspired, informed, and unsure how I would engage in this movement. Last week I went to one of their Powerful Conversations and the lightbulb went off. I decided to get involved by organizing this next conversation and by sharing this opportunity with those closest to me.

Come join us for a Powerful Conversation where friends, neighbors, and family gather to learn and share about what is possible in our energy system. The objective of this event is to answer your energy related questions and empower you with the knowledge of what we need to do, collectively, to change the system.

Minneapolis Energy Options will explain where our electricity is produced, how it is distributed, and why we are long overdue to change this system. In partnership with many others, this organization has recently made giant strides in reforming our energy policy here in Minneapolis and Minnesota.

These people are pragmatic and clear communicators! You will not be disappointed.

P.S. This is not a doom and gloom climate change seminar! Nor is it an environmentalist's kumbayah session!
