Community Q&A Inclusive Financing Lower Bills, Cleaner Energy

with national expert and co-developer of Inclusive Financing, Harlan Lachman

Monday May 21st, 6:30pm-8:00pm, @ CANDO/CTUL/IX  3715 Chicago Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55407
Affordable energy bills and cleaner air shouldn't come only to those with good credit. Come learn about a tool Minneapolis is exploring called INCLUSIVE FINANCING to allow every resident and business regardless of income or credit score to lower their energy bills through efficiency upgrades, solar energy, and more. States from Arkansas to Vermont have used this tool to open up access to renters, low-income home-owners, and expand the number of energy-related jobs locally. How, why, where, and for whom has Inclusive Financing worked? These topics, among others, will be covered at two sessions with national expert Harlan Lachman on May 21st. Bring your questions!
This Community Q&A will cover all the basics of Inclusive Financing: how it works, which states have seen it work around the country, the opportunity IF presents to communities in Minnesota for equitable access to energy bill savings and home comfort.  All are welcome to ask questions.
