Powerful Conversations: Whittier Neighborhood Discussion on Energy Democracy

Join us as we explore exciting, innovative opportunities to create an energy future for Minneapolis that is based in Clean, Local, Equitable, Affordable, and Reliable power such as community solar gardens. We will deepen our understanding of the current energy system, and how it shapes our local economy, health, environment, job market, and city-wide wealth disparities. 

Bring a friend or two and come share your questions, knowledge, or both!

As a result of for our grassroots organizing over the past 3 years, the City of Minneapolis has formed an innovative first-in-the-nation Clean Energy Partnership with its energy utilities. Today, we are organizing to make the Partnership’s energy efficiency programs be accessible and relevant to renters, groups from diverse cultural backgrounds, and lower-income communities who can benefit the most. 

There will be snacks and beverages provided!
