Instructions given for the forums:

About 3-4 pre-selected questions on local energy/climate issues was asked of each candidate with additional time will be available for audience questions. Anyone who RSVP'd at the Zoom Registration links listed could submit questions for candidates either upon registration or in the chat during forum over zoom. After the official close of each forum candidates and attendees who RSVP'd on Zoom link were invited to continue informal discussions in breakout rooms to build meaningful relations. The forums were also be livestreamed on Facebook and thus automatically recorded.

The questions featured on the 2021 Community Power candidate questionnaire provided a good sense of the local energy issues covered at the forums.

As a C3 organization Community Power, has not and will not be making endorsements in any of these races. The purpose of these forums is open dialogue on being a climate champion at the local level and the connectedness it has with additional priorities, and give a platform for residents to educate themselves about what city candidates plan to work on and prioritize.
