A most exciting part of our ongoing work is here! We are happy to announce we have already had 5 Minneapolis Candidate Q&A Forums on Local Energy and Climate Justice for the following Minneapolis City Council races, with 2 upcoming! Scroll down to see all the video links and candidates attending!

Instructions for future forums: About 3-4 pre-selected questions on local energy/climate issues will be asked of each candidate, and then additional time will be available for audience questions. If you RSVP at a Zoom Registration link listed at below then you can submit questions for candidates when you register or in the first 30 minutes of the forum over zoom. After the official close of each forum @ 8PM, both City Council candidates and attendees who RSVP in the Zoom link will be invited to continue informal discussions in breakout rooms to build meaningful relations. The forums will also be livestreamed on Facebook Live and YouTube. 

The questions featured on the 2021 Community Power candidate questionnaire will provide a good sense of the local energy issues covered at the forums.

The purpose of these forums is open dialogue on being a climate champion at the local level and the connectedness it has with additional priorities, and give a platform for residents to educate themselves about what city candidates plan to work on and prioritize.
